Brioche Starter is a two-color cowl pattern that is perfect for those who want to learn brioche, but is also great for seasoned brioche makers. Let your knitting confidence rise with this Brioche Starter cowl pattern.
The samples used the following amount of yarn:
Small version worked in Glam Haze, Topaz #15, 77 yards/70
meters. The large version worked in Cascade 128 Superwash,
Ivy #235, 180 yards/165 meter.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in two colors (high contrast works best).
Color 1, approx. 87 yards/80 meters; Color 2, approx. 96 yards/88 meters.
Sample used Color 1: Approx. 88 yards/81 meters of Urth’s Harvest Worsted (100% Wool, 225 yards/206 meters/100 g per skein); Color 2: Approx. 96 yards/88 meters of Uneek Worsted (100% Wool, 220 yards/201 meters/100 g per skein).

US 7/4.5 mm (circular with a long cord recommended to accommodate the number of stitches in an aran weight yarn - 16”/41 cm.

14 stitches and 20 Rows/4”/10 cm in 2-color brioche stitch in the round.
